Prior to the CZU fire, a lovely home, outbuildings & beautiful gardens graced the land at 531 Summit Drive. Although the greenhouse was lost, much of the garden & many of the trees are still there, providing shade & greenery. Existing plants have reappeared with new blossoms. For over 30 years, only organic gardening was done on the property – no pesticides were used. The views & the feeling of being near the top of the world are still there. On clear days, there are views of Monterey Bay & the Peninsula. The gently sloped site is defined on three sides by paved roads. Reports for septic system & private well have been completed. The County-required fire debris cleanup & soil sampling have been completed. The parcel is ready for a rebuild! The desirable Summit Drive neighborhood, composed of larger parcels, offers privacy, sunshine & abundant wildlife. It’s close to Fall Creek State Park, providing access to its many hiking trails.
